Plum Island Romantic Vacations

The draft was welcoming , friendly and knowledgeable. They suggested places to try and easy ways to get around the city. The rooms were clean and our view was great! The rooftop was especially nice, with ample seating and a 360° view of the entire city. Complimentary coffee, tea and morning croissants was a nice touch. Morgan at the front desk was a fountain of information! We would definitely recommend the Noble DEN for your stay!

Overall the front desk staff really save this property but I experienced a number of issues at this hotel. Pro’s: was given complimentary upgrade as I was there to celebrate a special occasion. When I entered the room there was a personalised professionally-printed banner. It must have been done by a professional printing company, very impressed with the welcome. Similarly when there were issues with room, the staff were very quick to take action and were exceptional with their compensation. Thanks Nicole and the team who’s names escape me, so kind and understanding (and patient) Con’s: the breakfast staff. Disgusting. Never in my life have I had such rude and disgusting service than in the hotel restaurant (where you have a $25 credit towards breakfast each day). Absolutely appalled at the tone and speech of the staff. To be honest it was a horrible way to start the day each morning and made me dread going down. Despite the room credit there is a COMPULSORY 20% tip that the credit doesn’t cover. To have the worst service I’ve received across the 43 countries I’ve been to and THEN have to give a 20% tip was infuriating. I complained to the restaurant manager who simply said ‘don’t talk to me’. Another con is the cleanliness of the room. Dirty cups and glasses (as in my coffee mug from 2 days ago was placed back on the counter each day (collecting mould by the end), bins sometimes not emptied. Toilet roll not always replenished. Came in despite do not disturb. Not great.

We were expecting a much better room. The room seems outdated, the bedding was really uncomfortable and not cozy. Pillows were uncomfortable and we have to ask for more pillows. The sofa bed where my son slept, was dirty and we had to ask for additional clean sheets and blankets. The hallways looked like a hospital and just felt not cozy at all. The staff is amazing and very friendly.
