Fiesta Island Romantic Vacations

They have refreshed and updated this hotel since I last visited in late 2024 and overall, changes are good. Staff were very friendly. They are still working out some kinks-restaurant and snack bar couldn’t do room charges, but visitors can pay by credit cards. The family pool is great if you are traveling with children. I did not use the spa, but they had a good menu of choices.

We enjoyed our stay here. We usually have complaints about hotels but I don't think we have a single one. Our kids loved the koi pond and feeding the fish in the mornings. The food was good and staff was friendly. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the cocktail hour. We did order from the restaurant one night and while the food was good, it was $30 for a very tiny portion of meat and some polenta. That was disappointing. The pool and hot tub were great and overall it was a very nice experience.

This property is in a great area of San Diego/Gadlamp. Great for families or if you are traveling as a couple and/or alone. Young adults would have a ball with so many bars and music going on in the area. The pool bar / 5 o'clock Somewhere is a hit. Brett and Travis are great and it was a lit of fun. The pool was very clean with pool chairs , tables, and music. The room was clean and very comfortable. My partner and I took the amtrak train to San Diego and didn't need to park. However, hotel has parking and bikes that you can rent/borrow. The first 2 hrs are free. If you stay at this hotel make sure to have breakfast at least one day at the Gaslamp Breakfast Cia across the street. It is delicious. After 10 pm you can get something to eat at the Melt. Go have fun and fin up!!!

Great sport to stay in Down town San Diego. Close to everything. On the 22nd floor there’s a great pool and hang out lounge. Very clean and safe. Def would stay here again.
