Cute hotel right in the center of the museum campus. I came during the heatwave of June 2026 and the per-room adjustable AC blew nice and cold through the night. Shower was big and clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. I even had a big fridge with a freezer which was amazing. Loved my stay here and would come again

We arrived after a full day of travel, hoping for a cool, clean room to recover in. Instead, no air conditioning — just a fan, which management offered as the "solution." Whether the AC is broken or simply not provided isn't clear, but either way, in the middle of summer, that's a problem they didn't seem in a rush to fix. The room itself had a tired, worn look — not dirty exactly, but not what we'd call clean either. A little elbow grease and some basic upkeep would go a long way here. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, or value, keep looking.

The hotel is close to all historic sites, close to a grocery store, pharmacy and the subway. The breakfast was excellent.

Very well-maintained rooms - even if you leave the room as late as 4 PM, housekeeping manages to clean the room. Other hotels just skip room cleaning for that day. The hotel also had a champagne and pastries delivered to room as gift for a special day! Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

This hotel was a great choice for our 4 night stay in Berlin. The room was spacious and our view was over a busy street which gave us a real feel for life in such a vibrant city. Our housekeeping was excellent - thankyou! We hired hotel bikes for 24hrs (at around 18euro) to do our exploring and found them reliable. All staff we encountered were very helpful and polite. The only reason i have given 4 ⭐️ is due to the air conditioning which was not equipped to handle the extreme heat. To counter balance this, we slept with our balcony door open. Thanks for a great day Melia Berlin.

Paolo and Lucas were great staff and attentive to any requests. The property itself seems a bit suspicious from the outside, however, the inside is well kept. The bedrooms and the beds were clean, as well as the bathrooms.
