Poorly maintained property with consistent challenge with Internet connectivity that was in and out by the minute. The room itself was in bad need of some deep cleaning, filthy Carpet, leaky faucets, etc.

We enjoyed an outstanding vacation. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We would love to go back again.

Positive- The room was cleaned everyday. The young man was respectful and worked hard. The buffet restaurant had exceptional food. The manager outside in the patio area where the music was performed did an outstanding job, always responding to our requests kindly. Good service with the sack lunches- appreciated that the fruits were washed with filtered water. Negative- Horrible check in reception- waited for the room , 45 minutes, yet did not tell us. They did not tell us anything about the place- did not know about the free restaurants and did not know about the free liquor choices.

Rixos Sharm El Sheikh is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful rooms, excellent service, and incredible food. The beach, jetty and pool areas are stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Sharm. Thankyou to Dr Amr Ibrahim onsite doctors who were fantastic sorting my dad’s cough and whizzing. Thankyou to Mustafa at guest relations and Ahmed Hamed for house keeping. Akram took the best photos. Dinner and breakfast was amazing and fresh. Nightly entertainment was superb.

Overall, the experience did not align with a 5-star rating; the property is more accurately comparable to a 3-star hotel. Room: The furniture is outdated, and the wallpaper is peeling in several areas. The hotel would benefit from a full renovation and modernization. Restaurants/Food: The dining experience was poor, with limited quality and variety. Halal Policy: As a halal-certified hotel, no alcohol is served or sold on the premises. Staff: The team is helpful, courteous, and consistently willing to accommodate guests’ needs. Their professionalism is one of the hotel’s stronger aspects. Facilities: The gym and spa are noticeably outdated and require significant upgrades to meet contemporary standards. Summary: While the hotel markets itself as a 5-star property, the overall guest experience reflects closer to a 3-star standard. The staff is professional and attentive, but the property suffers from outdated rooms, subpar dining options, and aging gym and spa facilities. A comprehensive renovation and overhaul of amenities would be necessary to meet true 5-star expectations.
