East Texas Kid friendly Vacations

“Suites” were out dated, smell of old water and stained sofas. We had two rooms and the “studios” were remodeled and much more clean. Don’t recommend suites and staff was overall pretty rude and annoyed.

Stuff was wonderful! We will be back in couple weeks!

Good location downtown with lots of walkable bars, restaurants, events and not too far from convention center. AC in room was great. Bathroom a bit small but clean, nicely appointed and adequate. Nespresso coffee in room was nice. A bit noisy from some loud motorcycles on street occasionally. Busy venue with the World Baseball Classic going on

Check-in was a breeze. Hotel staff very helpful. Plenty of nearby parking facilities available at a more reasonable price than the valet only hotel parking.

Been coming here for years. Charming hotel, great service and ambiance.

Absolutely stunning hotel and abominations, my only complaint was the pool was closed for cleaning :(

Felt let down on the quality of my room for the price I paid room was nothing special bar was under staffed and it took forever to get a drink my room was not ready when I checked in so I missed my dinner reservation

It would be nice to know if a luxury hotel is under renovation BEFORE making reservations. Was notified by the hotel that the lobby was being renovated after a non-refundable reservation. Valet parking is across and down the street one block requiring guests to walk past several smelly garbage dumpsters to park and retrieve their car. Can't recommend the JW until the renovation is complete. With all that, the room was nice and the staff were courteous.

This is a....functional...hotel. There is nothing special or stand-out about it. There were stains on the bed skirt, stains on the ottoman fabric. The spout for the tub was loose from the wall. That said.... there was art on the walls, the AC worked well and the staff was nice.

Great place, good food, friendly people. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
