We loved this hotel! The layout of the rooms was great and they were very spacious! The. Bathrooms were beautiful and also spacious. Having the washer/dryer in the room was helpful and we were able to do laundry everyday. We had one issue with the air dryer in shower, we went downstairs and they had someone up in 10 minutes to fix it. Everyone who worked there was very kind and helpful. We were able to easily use Google Translate if they didn’t speak English. The location was nice wand quiet but close up to many things. 7 eleven a few minutes away! It did take a little longer to get to other areas of Tokyo as we were not on a main subway line, but we enjoyed th quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again. The rooms were also really quiet- we couldn’t hear anything outside or in other rooms! No other hotel we stayed in was this quiet.

This is a gorgeous and elegant hotel with courteous staff and beautiful Onsen baths. We arrived in the evening and enjoyed the magical gardens with lights and mist. There are numerous restaurants on the grounds but none serve a quick simple dinner. They are all multiple course Kaiseke style and expensive (16000-20000 yen = around $100 per person). Room service is also expensive. Recommend to book the meal plan rather than playing it by ear like we did. If no meal plan, then the best option for a reasonable price dinner is room service Ramen served after 9.30pm - the server who brought it laid it out like a ceremony - delicious and a fun experience. The hotel is not so central but the 20 min JR train ride plus 10m walk is worth it if you value a quiet local neighborhood vibe.

Absolutely beautiful luxury hotel. Welcoming staff and concierge service specific to Hanakohro is a nice feature that distinguishes one’s stay and makes it even more special. Restaurants onsite are very nice, although a bit on the pricey side. The garden is very relaxing.

Main tower where we stayed is older but immaculate. Rooms could use some modernizing. Bed was not super comfortable but useable. Was in a great location, across street from metro, and had a thousand amenities from restaurants, 7-11, and a bowling alley on site. Self service coin laundry was enormous and immaculate. Never tried buffet for breakfast as line was 30 mins+ every day. Rate was really good. Would stay again - no hesitation.

It was a great hotel to be close to the hotel. Shuttle service was included which was great, but it was already very full when we got there.
