Good place but location is weird in the night especially around Ueno station. 9 pm is fine but after that , it’s tricky.

We stayed here at end of Tokyo trip for easy access to Narita Skyliner. Hotel was great and location, a quick walk to the market which has a great range of food and shopping while being far enough away from busy streets.

I liked that it was very close to a rail station with two popular local JR lines. The staff was very helpful. They held our excess bags for us.

Our recent stay was my second time at this hotel and, just like before, it was clean and well staffed. All rooms are non-smoking, which is a must for my family. My husband liked to go up to the rooftop garden every day and practice his tai chi. The breakfast room is on the second floor (not the street level like a lot of hotels) and it is very pleasant to look down onto the city as it wakes up. It really helps when jet lagged to be able to eat breakfast at 6:30. Asakusabashi is a surprisingly convenient location and the JR train/ Toei subway station is just a short walk away.

The hotel is brand new, clean & spacious (even with the smallest room) However, the shower without a tub is pretty small. Washer/dryer is perfect size for daily use.
