We were in Cardiff for a concert. It is a fun event city. We likened the downtown atmosphere to the Fremont Street of the U.K.
The city center has the train station, shopping, dining and nightlife, all within walking or Uber distance of Novotel.
This historic hotel has a great aesthetic, fantastic food, friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were lovely ,very friendly. Room was really nice ,bed very comfortable excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was hot ,loads of choice. Fresh cooked eggs .fresh juice .coffee spot on

Our check in was very quick and the staff were all very friendly. our room was okay but the bed !!!! was so uncomfortable I could not sleep in it so was glad we had a bed settee in the room to use, which was a lot better than the bed provided. I would highly recommend the hotel to purchase new mattresses as comfort is the only thing missing...... Great breakfast and quick check out.

The hotel is good in terms of location and cleanliness, however the price does not reflect the the average standards of facilities, in particular the quality of breakfast....the buffet was basic and provided limited options, the eggs were hardly edible.

"Very spacious comfortable room, aircon not working properly on a very hot day. Staff were excellent, attentive, polite and friendly. Excellent choice at breakfast, (£15pp) good quality food, but so-so coffee. Bar meal expensive for what we got, Mezze platter tasty but not a lot for the £20+ we paid. ..."
