Bang Kachao Golf Vacations

This is a hostel-standard “hotel”, with difference being that there are no bunk beds. Expect the bare minimum. The building looks like a hospital (interior and exterior). The positive I can find is its central location.

I had a superior sea view room which I really recommend as the lights at night are very pretty. I did not eat there or use spa because the prices are inflated for Thailand and there are spas very nearby. The pools are lovely, only a bit of a hike if you are not fit and able. Likewise the beach and be warned the beach is tidal and turns into a mud flat when tide recedes . Reception staff speak very little English and there were no trip promotional materials available. The hotel seemed to be frequented by mainly tour groups and business seminars (mostly men?) . The clientele were 95% Asian groups. Coming in and going out the next day. I loved the sand on the beach which is a lovely pink colour!

The hotel is listed as five stars but i expected more once I visited the place. I found the corridors to the rooms very dark. There is no air conditioning in the corridors. There are some doors in those corridors left open probably to allow more natural light but these doors lead to passages that room service and maintenance use and are not nice looking to the visitors. We liked the room that splits into two areas allowing 4 adults to split 2 and 2.
