East Coast Australia Cheap Vacations

Unfortunately I was very disappointed in my stay. Room was extremely small. Could hear every word from the people in the room next door on the phone. No sound proofing. No functional smart tv with Netflix etc even though it was advertised so. I brought a young teen and promised to watch movies on Netflix on the bed but this was not possible. Smart TVs were not working throughout the hotel we were told. Wifi Internet was terrible. Bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly but unfortunately the other points made me never want to book here again. I would also book a bit closer to the mall, like the location of the Ibis or Hyatt. It was not worth the money for the 2 nights for the type of facilities provided or size/confort of the room

Great place to stay. It was really close to places we wanted to go. The buffet breakfast is good as well.

The staff that greeted us were pleasant and helpful. The decor in the room was a little dated and tired, but that made no difference to our stay. The room, linen and bathroom were all lovely and clean, that’s important to us. Air conditioning was good and maintained a comfortable temperature the whole stay. Megaboom is located in a great central position within the city. We have no complaints and will definitely be staying with them again.

While the majority of the stay was good unfortunately the check in and our first night tarred the rest of the experience.

We have stayed at the Great Southern than half a dozen times and keep going back as it is convenient to everything. The staff are super helpful. Our next visit should be in 4 weeks.
