Central Vietnam Cheap Vacations

The A La Carte Resort is centrally located in Da Nang. Across the road from the beach and within walking distance to lots of restaurants, spa, mini marts. The hotel itself is very modern and we had a large 2BDR apartment with partial ocean view. The room was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a large balcony. All very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel concierge provided beach towels should you be going out to the beach. Cons: there was a large festival happening opposite the hotel with loud music until 10:30pm every night (it even started at 5am one morning), which even with our doors closed we could still here. According to one of our guides, this happens most weekends. If you struggle to sleep with noise, this might not be the hotel for you. Check-in is 3pm. On our confirmation from Expedia is said 2pm however they will not let you check in until 3pm. The pool - whilst it's a lovely infinity pool with fantastic views, there is no shade. Which means that there is no respite from the hot sun.

We really enjoyed our stay at RiverTown Resort Hoi An. The location is excellent, especially if you want to be close to Hoi An Old Town, where the bars, restaurants and night markets are. It’s also an easy walk to the beautiful lantern boats, which was a real highlight. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay — friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. The reception team can also arrange and book activities for you, which makes exploring the area very easy. The resort is well priced, including the drinks, and the happy hour deals are particularly good. The buffet breakfast was also very enjoyable, and the resort has some lovely pools for relaxing. Just note that the resort listing on Expedia states white-sand beach, but the beach is actually around 5 km away. That said, it’s an easy and enjoyable 15-minute scooter ride to some beautiful beaches, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. Overall, RiverTown is a great-value resort in a fantastic location, with excellent staff, good facilities and easy access to everything Hoi An Old Town has to offer. We would happily stay here again.

Quaint hotel. Beds were comfortable, pool was clean , rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels. The front desk and security very friendly! Free bicycles were a bonus. Buffet breakfast had many options and cooked to order eggs and omelettes . Loved our stay and would recommend!

Good quiet location, clean rooms, great staff especially Hung who knew our names and greeted us Walking distance to restaurants, bars.
