I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel

The service was excellent, our room was upgraded. The hotel gives you free bus tickets which was perfect for a day in Salzburg.

We had a lovely stay at the Arcotel Castellani. The room looked to be recently decorated was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the mountains. Air con, tea, coffee and water was provided along with general toiletries in the bathroom. Check in and out was easy and they stored our luggage so we could explore after check out time without carrying bags around. It is about a 20 minute walk into the old town (a straight walk) but a number 3 or 8 tram will also take you there in 15 minutes. I’ve heard of free passes but we weren’t provided with one but a 24 bus pass is approx £5 so not too bad anyway.

Easy parking, nice breakfast. The room was very small for our family of 4. And pillows too soft. Ok stay.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. It is a beautiful apartment with a large balcony. The apartment was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. No carpeting, which is a plus. Really nice wood ceiling as well. It comes with a small refrigerator, microwave, cooking hotplate available with deposit, and coffee machine. It has plates and cups and utensils. It has a nice eating area and a separate living space with a TV. The toilet closet is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom has a standalone tub and a shower. It has two sinks. Plent of hooks and places to hang towels. The location is a couple of blocks from the train station, which was a positive for us in arriving, leaving, and taking a day trip. It was a decent walk to the old town area, but we like walking. And with the free mobility guest ticket (free transport around Salzburg and the State of Salzburg), you have public transportation available. The only criticism is that I wish they offered a free late checkout based on availability. (They do offer a paid late checkout). But given that they will store bags, this is a small criticism. I thought the front desk was very responsive to messaging. Overall, this was one of best places I've stayed with our family of 4 across multiple countries. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is located right in the city center and very convenient for all the sightseeing! The breakfast is great too

Room was very nice, although it felt like the living area and/or bedroom could have benefited from a little more storage. Bathroom was really hot but nicely appointed. Breakfast is outstanding as long as you get there early enough to avoid sitting in one of the back rooms. Servers don’t make it back there very often. It’s amazingly quiet in the rooms - even those facing the Main Street. We were there for New Years And barely heard any noise from fireworks.

The hotel was clean, well run and only a short distance from the airport. My only complaint was the lack of any coffee maker in the room. Normally we would simply find a coffee shop nearby, but no such shop exists. We asked for a coffee, without the full buffet breakfast at their restaurant but were refused.

A wonderful hotel near the airport with a luxury spa and pool with fine dining. If you need a place to work out and swim in Munich, and cannot afford the Forte Hotel at 800-1000 a night, then this is the place for you. There is a gym to work out. a pool for laps with a built in hydro pool, 3 saunas of different heat, and a relaxation area with comfortable beds. The rooms upstairs are clean and comfortable. The staff here are amazing, and every request is honored with care. I will certainly stay here again when I return to Munich.
