Split Hill Island All inclusive Vacations

We booked a suite, which was very spacious and had a great view. In addition to the full bathroom, there was also a convenient half bath near the entrance. The bed was comfortable, and having robes and slippers is always a nice touch. Breakfast was easily a 10/10! It was included with our stay and offered a great mix of traditional breakfast items and local cuisine. There were plenty of options, with different selections each day, which we really appreciated. The hotel was also conveniently located. Ubers were generally between 7–15 minutes to pretty much everywhere we needed to go, including the mall, restaurants and other places we visited. Overall, the service was good. It does help to know a little Spanish, as most of the employees spoke limited English, but we were still able to communicate and get what we needed. The biggest downside was the smell in the hallway leading to our room. There was a noticeable mildew/wet, stale smell, and a similar smell was also present in the room. We reported it and housekeeping came by, which helped a bit. We also purchased an air freshener during our stay to help with the smell. Washcloths weren’t always readily available and weren’t consistently replaced when the room was serviced, so we had to request them. The room also did not have a microwave, which would have been convenient. Aside from the smell, particularly in the hallway, which the hotel should definitely address, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Especially the young man who carried my bags to my room. I wish I could remember his name, but he had to be in his early 20s. The rooms are beautiful. My bathroom could have been a smidge cleaner as the toilet and shower glass door could have been cleaner, but otherwise the room was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
