Cleaning needs improvement

The location, staff, and everything about the Alex Hotel was perfect. Only negative factor was the nearby bar with live band playing late into the night. The hotel did provide earplugs.

The hotel was fantastic. Really elegant amd comfortable. Breakfast is simple but of an excellent quality.

Room was clean, large and quiet near airport. Staff very helpful

Renovations to pool and lobby still underway March 2026. Ocean view room was nice and very spacious, looked like the photos. Rooms and finishes not as high quality as other nicer hotels I’ve stayed at but didn’t feel dirty although could definitely use a deep clean and refresh. Otherwise nice direct access to beach and bars restaurants etc. still seems to be best hotel on the beach so would stay again after renos complete.

Poor service across the board, from check in to the dining experience at Heno and Ray. Would not recommend or stay again.

The manager went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good stay. I really appreciate the effort put in on such short notice. The cleaning staff was very helpful with my enquires about finding my way around. Thank you for putting up with me being a diva. 😅🙏
