The staff were amazing at this hotel however before staying here I stayed at the regent and to be honest the regent felt more luxurious because of things like they had bath menu,pillow menu and free minibar which had wine etc and face masks . But to reiterate the staff were amazing and appreciated their touches for my engagement. But the hotel just felt lacking coming from the regent

I would not pay for breakfast you are westerner. Not much choices for Europeans or Americans.

I stayed in this hotel every time I visited Beijing, So it has come to feel like a home away from home. I liked that the hotel has a simple, clean and comfortable style. I want to especially thank a hotel staff named Mango. He was very sweet and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable.

Great location, walking distance to forbidden city. Room was clean and relatively quiet. Staffs were helpful. The rooms could use some more maintenance. A few of the electric sockets were too loose to hold charger, and shower leaked water outside the enclosure.

The hotel is beautiful, and we booked a room with Executive Lounge access. While the property looks luxurious, the overall experience didn’t quite meet the standards I expect from an international luxury hotel. The staff were polite but not particularly warm or welcoming compared to other luxury hotels. The gym is fairly basic, and the swimming pool gets very crowded. Despite the high number of guests, there are only three shower rooms, which feels inadequate for the facility’s capacity. I was also disappointed that the lobby bar only allows guests to sit if they purchase something. Another letdown was that the beautiful lobby piano is off-limits to guests, even for experienced pianists. Overall, the hotel has the appearance of an international luxury property, but the service culture and guest experience feel more local than international.
