PortoBay Rio de Janeiro is truly my home away from home. Five stars from beginning to end. A special thank you to Alice, Sasha, Daniel, Alex, and Jesus for their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The entire team, from the front desk to housekeeping and everyone behind the scenes, made my stay exceptional. The service was outstanding, the room was always beautifully maintained, and I genuinely felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. It’s the people who make PortoBay so special. I had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana. From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. The doormen were always so helpful getting me in and out of the car, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was excellent, and the service there was consistently attentive and professional. I also have to give a special mention to the room service. It was spot on every single time — my orders were always accurate, delivered promptly, and the staff were so friendly, kind, and always arrived with a smile. That really stood out to me during my stay. The hotel and my room were very clean and beautifully maintained. I also had a gorgeous view of the beach, which made the stay feel even more special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept very well as far as the comfort of the room itself. The only downside was the outside noise. There was quite a bit of street noise, as well as noise coming from the military facility across the street. I realize this really isn’t the hotel’s fault and is simply part of the location, but it is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The kindness and professionalism of the staff, the excellent service, the food, the cleanliness, the beautiful beach view, and the comfort of the room made my stay very enjoyable. I would absolutely stay at the Fairmont again.

Rooms need to be updated mattress very hard shower was molded and bathrooms sink stay clogged over all needs some updating
