COVID-19 has changed how the world works in many ways, including how we're able to travel safely. These tips will help you navigate the new challenges and get you ready for your escape to Sandri Island:

• Before booking your flight, check if any travel restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Get up-to-date information by reviewing government and travel websites.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to lower it briefly to confirm your identity. Those who refuse to wear a mask may be fined and denied entry.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA employee. Instead, you should place the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to remove it from your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• Put any personal items (phone, wallet and keys for example) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're planning to take food on the plane, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
