Rocky Mountains Yoga Vacations

Beautiful style. Nicholas and Hannah were so helpful with getting us settled. We arrived so late (12:10 a.m.), but Nicholas assured us that it was completely fine. I truly felt like I had been there before, they greeted us so warmly. We were attending a concert in the area and arrived back the following night well after midnight. Again, a different gentleman was working the front desk, he wore glasses, but I didn't catch a glimpse of his name tag. He welcomed us like it was three in the afternoon. So kind. The rooms were absolutely clean. The gym and pool were outstanding! If you have the chance, walk around the neighbourhood, and take a camera or your phone (at night it's stunning {especially the cathedral})!! Parking is off-site, half a block away.

The amenities are good. Everything. Was clean. The views of course are lovely if you have a balcony facing the mountains. The hotel itself is starting to show its age. No AC in the room, the plumbing looks like it need some attention or the vanity at least. We did not have Hot water but we had warm water in the evening for showering. I know it is Banff but when you’re charging a premium for 4 walls and a bed with barely more comfort than roughing it in the woods. the room itself should reflect it. The fitness room needs an update. The warm pools are nice and are kept up. The Keg of course is consistent. A good option for a meal breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was a surprise they did not have one of those built in convenience stores most hotels have for the emergency beverages, snacks, or toiletries. Overall I would say a 3 out of 5. Decent but nothing to blow you away.
