My biggest concern when planning my trip to the Singapore was the hotel location. Fortunately, I won the jackpot when I booked my stay at the Carlton Hotel Singapore. As soon as I entered, the lobby was bright and inviting. The staff was friendly and gladly offered to hold our luggage since we arrived before 10AM. She offered to let use the showers by the pool to freshen up which was very helpful to get our day started. Once we checked in, we were surprised at the size of the room with the king size bed. There was no squeezing or reshuffling our luggage as there was ample space to move around comfortably. From what I researched, Singapore hotel rooms were small just like other Asian hotels but our room reminded me of hotels back in the US. Another surprise was how quiet the property felt. I never heard anyone in the hallways or doors closing. The best part of the hotel was the location to the local buses and MRT stations. We utilized all public transportation and the shopping mall diagonal to the hotel where we shopped for souvenirs and quick snacks. We had a minor cleaning issue in our room which I reported to the management. Within 15 minutes, the issue was quickly resolved with the manager on duty who apologized several times with a generous accommodation. Classy. Overall, if you prefer a hotel in the heart of Singapore but without all the busy attractions and noise this hotel is the perfect stay.

Stayed one night. Comfortable bed, room size was reasonable, although bathroom size was quite small for a Club room. Club lounge was ok, it did get quite busy during evening canapes. Food and drink choices was decent. It was enough to fill up and didnt have to look for another meal. Location was opposite Arab Street, Haji Lane and a short walk to Bugis Junction and easy access to MRT.

I am writing to share my wonderful experience during my recent stay at Grand Hyatt Orchard. One of the best things about the property is its unbeatable location—being right smack in the heart of Orchard means you are surrounded by an incredible variety of shopping malls, endless dining options, and convenience right at your doorstep. Despite being in such a vibrant and bustling location, what truly amazed me was the pool area. I was incredibly impressed by the lush greenery surrounding the pool. The landscaping creates such a tranquil, immersive atmosphere that it completely transforms the space—standing there, I felt completely transported away from the city and into a peaceful, green sanctuary. I was also equally blown away by the breakfast experience at Straits Kitchen. The range and variety of choices available were simply phenomenal, offering an incredible spread of local and international flavors that catered to every craving and made each morning an absolute delight. Thank you for providing the perfect balance of ultimate convenience and a relaxing urban oasis. It was truly a highlight of my stay, and I look forward to returning in the future!
