The rooms were fine but service and reception was extremely poor

We had a wonderful stay at Ellen Kensington. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was a lovely option for a relaxing night in. We especially appreciated being within walking distance of the Tube, as well as several local restaurants and shops. The only drawback was the bathtub, which was quite high and somewhat difficult to climb into when showering. Additionally, the half-glass shower door did not provide much coverage, so water often ended up on the bathroom floor. During our stay, we experienced two different room types, and I would highly recommend the Continental Suite. The extra space made a noticeable difference and added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay.

Well located (close to Earl's Court station - so direct connection to Heathrow via Piccadilly line), nice area and solid hotel in all respects. Price was not cheap for certainly good value for money.

On first appearance the entrance & lobby were lovely. Check in was simple. However, our room wasn't great. The smell in the room was awful, bad sewerage smell. The whole floor had the smell. We mentioned this to reception & they just said thanks for letting them know. If we had been staying more than one night we would have asked for a different room. The location was good however and even though we we overlooked the road there was little noise. Such a shame about the smell, they seriously need an overhaul of their plumbing.
