The stay was excellent. The staff were very professional. There is a chinese front desk receptionist explained everthing in very details. It was my birthday date when i checked in. I enjoyed the room, your hotel faciliy and cleaniness.

Great stay at Hotel Amsterdam. Staff friendly upon check in and check out. Deluxe room really spacious with comfortable bed and pillows. View out onto harbour was picturesque. Would stay again

Beautiful, unique property in the historic centre of Nagasaki.

Ultra modern with excellent views of the bay and the city. To get to the hotel, you enter the ground floor of the building and take the elevator to the seventh floor for the lobby and reception. The first person to greet your arrival is Hashimoto, who instantly makes you feel like a valued customer or, maybe, a warmly received family member. What a pleasant introduction to this hotel. And, throughout our four-day stay, he seemed to always be on the ground level, greeting, opening car doors, and generally making one feel good. We loved the available lighting choices in our room, the automatic opening and soft closing of all the doors, the size of our closet, and the comfort of the bed. Each morning was a delicious breakfast with great views. This hotel is an excellent choice while visiting Nagasaki. As you exit the train station, turn to your right, and, Voila, there it is!

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and convenient. Staff speaks English pretty well, they are kind and helpful. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a lot to choose from.

The hotel was lovely with spacious guest rooms with lots of luxurious details. The room lacked practical facilities like a place to put your clothes or suitcases which meant it looked cluttered all the time. The front desk staff were pleasant when they were there but seldom were able to be helpful. We were told that none of the restaurants on the property were open despite their posted hours, there was no option to send out laundry and even that there were no umbrellas available to borrow during a downpour. It was comical after a while! All in all, too much focus on luxury and not enough on the daily details.
