The staff were very welcoming. The room was very cosy and oversaw the beautiful pyramids.

our family of 7 enjoyed the property but were surprised to find out that the pool was not included in the rental. At nearly 10 dollars usd per persons eyptian equivalent, it would have cost our family 70 dollars a day to swim. My kids love swimming so this may be a pass next go to egypt. otherwise it was a nice property and we really liked the room and the close walking distance to a grocery store!

the 1st room i was given was NOT the room i booked. i reserved an Elite Room with Jacuzzi and Pyramids View. the one they gave me had neither - it was the smallest and cheapest room they had. i did not accept. luckily i had a picture of my booking and threatened to leave. "Magically" someone had left early that day. their room was being cleaned; it was similar to the one i had booked. i accepted it based on their promise to move me into the proper room the following day. as far as i'm concerned, they should have or ought to have declined my reservation because they knew well in advance ( booked mid January for possession mid Feb ) that they had NO room available at check-in. the 2nd room had a view and a jacuzzi ( which had a back panel missing and the front was detached from the top ). not very enticing to look at nor use. the electrical sockets were missing covers and were wobbly - didn't use because i was afraid of electrocution. in any event, i was moved into the proper paid for accommodation the next day. there was an issue with the curtains. i was told that someone would repair them the next day. i used some chairs and fixed them. 2 days passed but no one came. the staff was eager to help but follow thru was lacking. on 2 consecutive days i had to ask for towels because either housekeeping forgot to replace them or had none available at the time they cleaned up. the hotel is located fairly close to the GEM and pyramid complex but it also abuts 2 major busy and noisy str

Large, clean, well appointed room and bathroom. The mattress was in good condition (no sagging in the middle or the side). Lighting was good. Blackout curtains provided privacy and insulation against the sun and the air con worked well. Reception was polite, efficient and knowledgeable checking in and out. Several restaurants available within the hotel including an Italian venue with excellent food and service. Bottled water was used in food prep and ice for drinks. No Pharaoh’s curse! A grand hotel located about 15 mins. from the airport but about 45 mins. from site seeing activities. I would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t stay for long because our flight was late at night but the hotel was beautiful and the front desk was so nice

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile, which is well located for exploring the city while still feeling calm once you are inside. The Club Lounge on the 22nd floor is worth considering if you are booking. The team there were consistently attentive, and Ahmed in particular made us feel very welcome. The food offering in the lounge was good quality. The sushi, when available, was very popular, and the mango juice is a must try. It was fresh and genuinely excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a very good shower and plenty of space to relax after busy days sightseeing. Breakfast on the 3rd floor has a much wider selection than the lounge, with plenty of hot and cold options. It can get busy at peak times and clearing of tables was sometimes slow, so going slightly earlier may make for a smoother experience. We ate twice at Kamala, the Asian restaurant, and would recommend the sushi promotion. The chef tailored the sushi to our preferences, which made it feel more personalised and good value for what you receive. The pool area is calm and the water is heated, which is helpful in cooler months. It is a good space to unwind after sightseeing. I also had a 50 minute massage in the spa. It is on the expensive side compared to local prices, but convenient if you prefer to stay within the hotel. Overall, a comfortable and well run hotel with attentive staff and a particularly strong Club Lounge experience. A solid choice for a stay in downtow

Such a wonderful hotel, considerate staff, welcoming hosts, overall 10/10. The owner Ahmed was such a delight, very attentive to our needs and made sure that we had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast has a great selection and the location is at an amazing place. What was stunning was the views from the roof of the hotel, the ambience was just the best. I would like to thank Ahmed and the entire staff for being the best. Also, Ahmed does the best tours of Egypt. This hotel is highly, highly recommended. I wish I could just live there at this point.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The cleanliness was impeccable, making my stay very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. What stood out the most was their patience, they went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience!

Staff at time of my check in was very friendly and co-operative. Room is nice and clean, we have electric kettle in room but no tea, milk or coffee so please get your own tea bags or coffee sachet with you otherwise there is plenty available around there. Location is brilliant and very close to many city attractions, plenty of shopping around and metro station in nearby. Lot of local street food is there in that area. Breakfast is very basic but served the purpose. Overall, good experience, clean, nice room and it is definitely worth staying there in medium budget.
