This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel. The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags. The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well. Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to drink out of the sink in the room or go to the bar and get it from the tap there. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to friends or family…no, not billed as a luxury hotel.

Furama Darling Harbour was an amazing hotel. It is beautiful and recently renovated. I loved the security of the elevators needing you to swipe your key to move up to your floor. The staff were very kind and helpful. Everything was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Sydney.

The rooms were gorgeous and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I would come back again for another staycation.

Excellent staff. I realized at the airport that I had left my phone in the room. They went immediately to the room, recovered the phone and connected me with a courier. They were extremely responsible and courteous in all matters ( not just the phone mishap). I cannot praise them enough! I also wish to comment on the beautiful room, as well! It was so well designed, spacious, and perfectly appointed. An outstanding experience!

Enjoyed the location of the hotel and parking availability

One of the loveliest places Ive stayed. Love the polished floor boards, the mod cons, the full sized fridge, the lush quality linens & toiletries; the studio open space & the bed- divine. Lock up property so I felt safe & happy to have my car safe & off the street too, a seamless check-in & great communication from staff, admin as well as staff cleaner who made the experience pleasant & efficient in every way. As a solo traveller security & comfort are important as without it you can never really relax & instead being on guard wears you down. This place was worry-free, hassle-free & 100% R&R. It was also condusive to feeling organised & its clean lines & spaces made it easy to keep clean & tidy & overlook the clutter in my head & plan my next moves without any distractions. I will look foward to an opportunity to book here again soon.
