I stayed at Sofitel Haikou for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and functionality, ideal for business travelers. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a comfortable work desk and high-speed Wi-Fi. The staff were courteous, professional, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both Western and local options, which was a great way to start the day. It's a nice property. Close to many government offices and large companies. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. I liked the bathroom design. It was spacious and gave many options. The closet was also well-designed. I felt the luxury. The breakfast had plenty of options but mostly Chinese food and very few options for the international guests. The staff didn't speak much English or other languages. It was very hard for me to ask for my choices if they were even available. I liked the lobby. Plenty of seating areas and themes. If Hainan wants international businessmen to come, they better train their staff and redesign their menus.
