For a Hilton this was a disappointment. The "partial sea-view" that I paid extra for was a view of trees and the building across the street (the actual sea-side wing). The staff were lovely, but the bed was quite hard, and the in-room coffee was powdered instant coffee. It felt like a 3 star hotel by North American standards. I chose to stay a bit outside the city centre for the sea view and regretted this as I ended up spending quite a bit on transfers to the major tourist attractions without much of a view.

Excellent facilities. Room was clean and housekeeping staff great. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. So much choice, exceptional all round and would highly recommend.

Great stay and in specific the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Thank you for making my visit the best.

Premium room disappointing for a 5 star hotel. First allocation was an attic room with a skylight instead of a window. Second room we were given which we reluctantly accepted had a view of internal courtyard roof and was very dark. Roof top bar is inside rather than a roof terrace. Offered an upgrade to pay for on check in but as it was 2nd floor city view we declined due to traffic noise. Breakfast selection was good but service let it down - slow to take orders and clear tables. Outside Bar at street level a nice place to sit if weather permits. We were looking forward to staying and although the hotel itself is nice our room spoiled our stay.

World class 5-star hotel. Best in Finland. The new gym and spa are a great addition. Wonderful historic hotel with exceptional service right at the heart of Helsinki. The rooms have amazing beds and top class linen, and they are incredibly quiet.

Hotel is very nice and great location. Staff were excellent. Breakfast could use a few more options. Very limited if you don’t like omelets

Finally a digital experience backed up by great and instant service support. The apartment t was extremely well appointed and in an excellent location.

Very clean. Cafe next door. In room laundry. Walkable to everything. The only issue we had was the gym was not next door. Website and AI instructions need updating as Gym 10 mins walk away but had great facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel kept cancelling our reservation. We had to contact them every day to get a new check in code. The last day they canceled our reservation altogether. We had to deal with AI to make contact. Then they would forward a new code. However my phone was low on battery and if I could not contact them we would be locked out with our luggage still inside. Our aircon had a blocked drain and leaked onto the floor. I had to turn off the power. I would never recommend this cost saving way the company adopted. I could have booked accommodation with a physical person to deal with in reception for the same price. I would then have someone to help with our problems.

Could not open the windows. The room was very hot even with the cooler and a big metal fan running all the time. The consept of the hotel is nice, but the heated room ruined the sleep.

We stayed for 4 nights for the marathon and wanted a place to make food etc so it was a good fit. I think really you’d stay two nights max as there are no fresh towels or room turn down and coffee/tea didn’t get refilled. I did ask the AI bot thing but it didn’t deliver. That’s the annoying thing. There’s no person really to speak to whilst you’re there. Needs a sink in the room kitchenette. But it’s cheap and cheerful. A good concept that when working well is great. But often we found lots of dirty dishes in sinks left by guests. Some older guys were asleep on sofas on communal area in the evening so not inviting. Bins in room way too small. So for two cheap nights, fine. But not for longer.
