Mekong Delta Ski Vacations

The unit is spacious which is exactly what we needed, but we did not get the key on time as promised (there was a 30-minute delay), and the unit was not very clean and had other issues. We had to request the kitchen area to be re-cleaned, shower handle to be fixed, tissue papers to be provided…. One of the bathroom doors could not be locked and there are plenty of black moldy spots in the shower areas. This was the last stop on our two week long Vietnam and Cambodia trip, and it was the least clean unit, though the most expensive one we had booked. They also do not provide luggage storage on site as they told us it’s a service apartment not a hotel. On our second day stay, we requested clean towels. Did not hear back for a few hours. When we had to request again early evening for only two clean towels, we were told that we must make such request one day in advance. We were advised to wash the towels ourselves using the washing machine in the unit. Our family has been traveling around the world each year, and have never stayed in a place where a couple of clean towels could not be provided upon request. Despite the ample space and relatively good location, we’ll never book Zenity in the future.

Everything was great. The host is attentive when needed but if you plan to use the pool or gym facilities you will need to be let in by the host. Not a problem aslong as you give 30 minutes ahead of time you need to use it.

The host was friendly and always ready to help when needed.

⭐ 0 STARS IF I COULD — ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL I have given Metropol Opera Deluxe Residence 1 star only because the system will not allow me to give ZERO. This was genuinely one of the worst and most frustrating hotel arrival experiences I have ever had. When we arrived, we eventually managed to gain entry past the very grumpy doorman and went to the counter looking for some help. The lady at the counter told us that she “had nothing to do with the hotel.” This was rather confusing considering “Opera” was clearly displayed above the door. I showed her our booking confirmation and tried to explain the situation, but she was incredibly unhelpful and basically ignored me. With absolutely no assistance being offered, I sat down in the lobby and tried calling the contact number provided with our booking. No answer. We waited and waited. Finally, around 20 minutes later, we received a message telling us to “wait in the lobby.” So that's exactly what we did. We then sat in the lobby for approximately another 30 minutes, still waiting for someone to actually deal with our booking. Then another doorman arrived — equally grumpy — and instead of helping us, he told us that we had to leave the lobby and WAIT OUTSIDE ON THE FOOTPATH IN THE HEAT! Seriously? We had a confirmed booking. We had shown the booking confirmation. We had tried calling the supplied number with no answer. We had been specifically instructed by message to WAIT IN THE LOBBY, and then their doorman told us

We could smell a unpleasant odour in the corridor and the hotel did an amazing job cleaning the carpet which elevated the smell
