The outstanding thing about this hotel is its staff. The bathrooms could do with a revamp

Everything was good as expected of 4 star hotel. Property was spacious and clean. Food was OK. All the staff were polite and helpful apart from some staff at the restaurant who were in their own world rather than looking after the guests. I needed to draw attention of the staff many times for my needs as they appeared to have forgotten that I am there.

This place is an authentic and very friendly place to stay if you want a downtown safe-haven in Kolkata.

Our stay was very comfortable. Room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was supportive. Room service, housekeeping and breakfast was included. Stay also has laundry services if one wants it. Overall our stay was nice

The Astor is a nice hotel but there is NO ELEVATOR. The room on the second floor is a.lot.of steps. If you have mobility issues, a heart condition etc. do not book the Astor.
