Super clean. Super comfortable room. Great lighting in the rooms. Luxurious hot water. Great Dove products. Great staff interactions. I loved this hotel. Incredibly convenient location too.

Great location (steps from Queen St Station). Modern rooms in a lovely refurbished building. Comfortable and clean; well-stocked for longer stays although we were only there a couple of nights. Nice local touches e.g. books on Glasgow. Would happily stay here again.

The receptionist was lovely.The room was very nice. The overall experience was let down by the lack of staff in the main castle reception when i arrived for my pre booked tea and scones i had to search about for a member of staff. No one was there to greet guests as they arrived.
My experience in the main dining room that evening was also lacking again staff, plus trained staff. Breakfast was also a bit of a let down, for this standard of hotel I was not expecting to be served bacon that was dried out and tough, could not even cut this. This was my second time having an overnight stay and must say that from when I last there a year ago things are not to the same standard that you would expect from a hotel of this rating. A very underwhelming stay.
