Caribbean Scuba Diving Vacations

The grounds are beautiful-both family and adult only side. The restaurants are great except the cats and dogs roaming freely throughout the restaurants (outside seating). We did not like the animals were around while we were attempting to enjoy dinner. The food was good, but the animals detracted from our experience. The room, at first was spectacular a bit dated, but still nice. By the fourth day, the old furniture began to smell like mildew and moldy. We also saw and killed several roaches. Yulissa was awesome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but not sure we’d return.

Un lugar hermoso y grande al punto que no me sentí sofocada por las personas. La limpieza en las habitaciones buena. Aunque en los elevadores se percibia un olor no agradable. El personal debería ser entrenado mejor. No todos pero una gran parte demasiado jovenes e inespertos. La comida buena aunque repetitiva y desee probar más comida tipica de la region.

Food could be better. Everything else was great. If you do not speak Spanish have a translation app close by.

The water park was outstanding. Great for the kids. palomino Island was a little bit of a let down, but was more because the wind was strong that day and affected the snorkeling. Be careful because if you aren’t in line early enough for the ferry you might miss it. Great restaurants on site. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds. Lots to do.

We have been to Jamaica at least 10-15 times and have stayed at several AI resorts throughout the island. Cons: This was my least favorite and I’d consider it a 3 star at best. Resort is a ghost town after 9/10pm. Need more nightly activities for the 20-40ish crowd. Piano bar gets old. Need to add foam parties, more genres of music, karaoke on stage and on a weekend. Pros: The staff(Amay, Cori, Moesha & Dean were all fabulous & went above and beyond. The ocean/beach are amazing with fun/free amenities to include a catamaran cruise & other water sports. Go support the locals at the blue tents, short stroll down the beach. There we did all our shopping, purchased souvenirs, ate lobster and received a couples massage on the beach for $120 total from Raquila & Nicole. Also be sure to support Nicole as she does specialized hand crafted jewelry made from turtle/coconut shells.
