I love staying at the St. Francis. It’s my hotel of choice every time I visit San Francisco. The hotel is great, the staff professional, friendly and personable.

Great rooms. Perfect location. Beautiful hotel overall. Wish we had more time at the property. We'd love to stay again.

Wonderful stay! The only downfall was not being clearly labeled and visible from the street. I would not have guessed that we would have to enter a door that was labeled as a restaurant. To have to take another “loop” around the block, takes so long because it can’t actually be around one block, to almost miss it again, but thank God I could just back up that time. Would definitely stay again and now that I know, I know how and where to check in.

I primarily chose this hotel due to location, and I thought the decor was unique. The courtyard was pretty cool even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Definitely a fun game area. The staff was pleasant the two times I interacted with them. However, for us the negatives outweighed the positives and I would not stay here again. Inside the room, we could hear Everything coming from surrounding rooms. Most importantly, I was extremely dissatisfied with room cleanliness. There was something dried that had dripped down the side of the nightstands, drippings down the acrylic front to the SF picture on the wall, and mold around the faucet and bathtub handle in the bathroom. Although the location was ideal, I would definitely choose somewhere else when we return to SF.

The service, staff, and restaurant were fantastic! Would stay again.

1. hotel guest I could not get a table for one of the hotel restaurants 2. Very noisy felt like a Party hotel 3. I got charged for a water and the was supposed to be free part of my $10 day mini bar allowance

The Garden Dining area was stunning. The breakfast buffet and service were outstanding. The hotel is impeccable and well appointed.
