We stayed in apartment 12 which was 2 bedrooms & is the central apartment on the top floor. The views were spectacular! The apartment was so spacious with an open plan living, kitchen, dining area with each opening onto the balcony which was equally spacious. The large outdoor dining area was covered & the outer area caught the sun all day with sunloungers on it. The furnishings were lovely & the beds comfy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped & the washer & dryer were so useful. The pool area was beautiful & was much bigger than it looked on the photos. I wouldn't recommend the location for those with young children or anyone elderly or unfit as the hill is a challenge, especially in the heat but for us was so worth it & I could not stop gazing at the view. I loved Airlie & if I were to ever visit again, I would not stay anywhere but number 12 or 12a Martinique.

Quiet location, easy access to path to town. Excellent pool facility and gardens looking over the bay. Friendly staff. Bathroom average.

I had such a wonderful time booking my stay at Peninsula Airlie Beach! The water views are absolutely breathtaking, and Paul, the management team, was incredibly helpful. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I recently visited Airlie Beach for my 40th birthday, and chose to stay at The Boathouse Apartments as a treat. I am so glad we did, it was amazing! We had come across from Daydream Island around 10am and asked to leave our bags at reception until we could check in. The staff member offered to check if our room was ready, which it was, so we were given early access. Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed, with very comfortable furniture. The room was kept at the perfect temperature to beat the humid February weather. The balconies off the room were great. We spent a fair bit of time out on the larger one after our swims. The sun sparkling on the water of the marina was so peaceful. The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to the main street, but far enough away that it's lovely and quiet in the evenings. There are shops and cafes below the hotel, we enjoyed a meal at both cafes over our stay. The pool was lovely. The space it's in, is really nice, with loungers, tables, chairs and BBQ facilities. We spent time there every day of our stay. The staff we came across were all so wonderful and accommodating, not only letting us into our room early, but Mason, who was on call Saturday evening, was understanding and came out as soon as he could to let us back in after we'd left our key in the room.

Stunning location. Could not be any better. Breakfast was average at best. Property has an opportunity to be a 5 star place but they seem content as a 4 star.
