Magnificent hotel in a perfect location

My group had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was incredible and we found the rooms sufficiently spacious. The best part of our stay was by far the staff - specifically, Emma at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating to our group when we had an unexpected emergency come up. Every other worker was also kind and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent situation in old town.

We only stayed two nights but really enjoyed the rooms and convenience to the royal mile. The breakfast being included was a nice touch as well.

Nice lodge and fantastic staff. I must have booked us into the house across the street which was a slightly different experience and our particular room was very lacking in terms of amenities, size, and washroom standards.

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. A few things to bear in mind, there was a very noisy Wetherspoons directly below our room on the third floor, ear plugs are a good idea! We had to remind the hotel to clean our room on a couple of occasions and the towels/flannels in the bathroom were stained. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is ideally placed for all the sites of edinburgh
