Stayed for 2 nights with friends. Hotel was great for our needs although we felt it needed updating & refurbishing in places. Our room was sufficient for our needs apart from lacking in a decent number of sockets for use to charge the many batteries in all our gadgets. The staff were very friendly, helpful & efficient. The food for breakfast & dinner was excellent with a wonderful choice for breakfast. Our bathroom was a bit dated & in need of refurbishing but the water was definitely hot!
The whole hotel was very clean & I even spotted someone cleaning skirting boards in the reception area.

This was a good hotel, now it is a restaurant first, hotel rooms second. They no longer offer breakfast, but you can enjoy a good curry in the evening, when the restaurant opens. The carpark is still free to use, which goes hand in hand with the restaurant. The rooms are now showing their age with lack of investment. Our bed was comfortable if small, our friends said theirs was very firm. Not sure if we will stay here again, which is a pity.
