Plum Island Mountain Vacations

A lovely, iconic property in a great location for restaurants, theater, sightseeing. Hotel was in the process of starting a new reservation system, was seriously unprepared for it, and significantly understaffed causing delays at check in that were incredibly long. It took us 2 visits to the front desk and 90 minutes before getting access to our rooms. Excusing mistakes and software glitches is one thing, but the staff did not deal with it well. They apologized profusely and repeatedly, but no other response. For example, no offer of water or a drink while in line, no offer of a breakfast or a coffee for our trouble; no offer of a drink in the bar, etc. For the price of a room ($800+), one expects a bit more respect and responsiveness. Kudos to Henry (valet/bellman) and Medy (concierge desk) who were most helpful and apologetic.

Internet wasn’t that fast. Connecting streaming services to the tv didn’t work (likely user error). Friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Absolutely everything. Amazingly appointed room, very friendly stafff.

Loved the property and location--just a quick walk to Times Square.

This is my preferred hotel when I travel to New York City

Great property.l, location and service.

The location and price are fantastic. The rooms were fine. No coffee maker or mini fridge. The only ice machine is on the first floor. We would stay again for sure.
