The Hotel and staff were fabulous!! Our only problem was with the bar/restaurant were terrible. Understaffed leadibg to poor service. The appetizer, a gooey cheese dish, was not as described in the menu. When we questioned why the dish didn't come with salsas, we were told dish had been changed??? The dish needed the salsa. We were going to order entrees, but with a so so app and not service, we paid the bill at the bar and left.

I stayed at Pacific Palms several times before with no problems; however, the room I was given did not meet the standard. There was a lot of machine noise, and I had no idea what it was from. Maybe it was the room's location. Could not see at night. The air conditioner was very loud. Maybe there have to be some updates. The Red Restaurant was excellent for breakfast.

Restaurant and bar prices are a rip off. $21.50 for a 16 oz beer in a plastic cup for the pool. Mandatory gratuity and then tax on the gratuity. Otherwise a very nice stay. Hooked me up with an early check in and a late check out. Valet is really well run.
