We stayed here over 10 times and the experience keeps getting better. Steps from the beach. Awesome rooms. Great beach service. Wonderful food from their restaurant. We stayed here 3 times in the last 6 months. Turn down service is awesome. Front desk is awesome.

The daily resort fee of $111 should be clearly disclosed during check-in. I honestly don't see the benefit of such a high fee. Many hotels have pools and beachfront access without charging an additional amount like this. You don't even provide complimentary bottled water in the room, let alone the level of service expected at a resort of this caliber, but somehow I was charged for these. The hospitality was mediocre, and at times it felt like the staff didn't give us the same experience as other guests. We paid money just like them, but the only difference was the color of our skin (discrimination reviews were also mentioned at the night club that is located at the hotel as well). On several occasions at the pool, employees would ask White or lighter complexion individuals if they needed anything, then simply walk right past my husband and I without acknowledging us. It was disappointing and made us feel overlooked. I've attached photos of the room. We paid a pretty penny for our stay, and honestly, a Homewood Suites would have offered a better overall experience. It's the little things that go a long way, my husband went to the front desk to ask for a microwave, and he was given some random excuse on why we don't have one. Thankfully he found a regular staff member who found one for us. You'd think things like that would be included, especially since we stayed there for 5 nights. The Condado Vanderbilt is a beautiful property, and our suite was stunning. Having a butler was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the service throughout our stay did not match the luxury experience we expected. Housekeeping was consistently disappointing. We often had to call multiple times just to have our room cleaned, and there were occasions when no one showed up after our request. Even when the room was serviced, towels would be replenished while washcloths were removed or not replaced, forcing us to call housekeeping repeatedly for basic necessities. The most concerning part of our stay occurred during breakfast. My fiancée often dined alone and experienced what we perceived to be noticeably less attentive service. When I arrived, as a lighter-skinned guest, the staff suddenly became much more attentive. While I can’t know the reason, the difference in treatment was significant enough that it left us questioning whether colorism or racial bias played a role. I appreciate the front desk staff for adjusting our final bill after hearing our concerns, but that did not make up for the repeated service issues we experienced. A luxury hotel should provide consistent, attentive service to every guest. Sadly, despite the beautiful accommodations, I don’t see myself staying at the Condado Vanderbilt again.
