I'm an Electrician and was surprised at the crappy install of electrical receptacles... gaps between cover plate and wall and crooked. Major eyesore. Sancocho and chicken fingers were amazing. Some items at breakfast buffet were cold but should have been warm/hot. Scrambled eggs were cold and sitting in water. Omelet station and coffee were amazing. We are in Costa Rica now and I'm really missing their coffee 😢 The sea bass was incredible! Staff is mostly Spanish. Download spanish on your google translate app. Best English speaking was front desk. Everyone else is unapologetically Spanish. Pools were great.

I did a lot of research on where to stay. This hotel did not disappoint. From the moment I booked the hotel reached out and offered arrangements from the airport. Everything from airport pickup to dinner reservations was seamless. The hotel was even more beautiful in person. I would stay here again

Overall the experience at the hotel was decent as it served its purpose. Was affordable if you’re looking for a unique/different hotel experience. However, be aware that the interior rooms don’t have windows and it has a slightly damp feeling and smell likely due to all of the concrete. I will say that there is a really awesome boujie restaurant on the rooftop so be sure to check it out if you’re looking for a social vibe. The music can be loud. We were on the bottom floor and were unbothered, however if you’re higher up on the 2nd floor noise may be a concern. The location is perfect as it’s just a few mins walk to the club/rooftop district and there are restaurants right next door. WIFI and Netflix worked great for downtime in the room but we tried not to spend too much time in there. Overall we rate it a 5/10. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but it was a cheap hotel for a couple nights in Casco Viejo.

I received an upgrade to a residential space which was phenomenal - apartment living. The restaurant and spa were wonderful. However, the premises offered very little outdoor space, with a very small lap pool that was underwhelming. On a separate note, housekeeping tossed out food I stored in the refrigerator and removed all of the mini bar snacks and drinks prior to my departure. I reached out to the front desk twice to inform them of this, but no one followed up on what happened. So, that was a disappointment. Overall, a beautiful property but I’d prefer one with greater walkability and better outdoor facilities (pool area).

Overall, the property and staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The grounds & hotel were beautiful and well-kept, and we especially enjoyed the live entertainment each night. However, some parts of the stay didn’t meet expectations. The excursions and activities booked through the property were quite expensive, and we didn’t feel they matched the value for what we paid. A recurring issue during our stay was the in-room TV, it displayed another guest’s name and room number. Despite visiting the front desk multiple times and having maintenance come by, the issue was never resolved. This was concerning since the TV shows billing details and messages. Restaurant options were limited, and while the food was delicious, portions were small and meals pricey, often around $75 or more for two without alcohol. Most staff members spoke limited English, so communication could be tricky at times. Washcloths weren’t provided automatically, we had to request them. The pool closes when the sun sets and reopens only after morning cleaning, so swimming hours are limited. Be sure to use the mosquito wipes provided, those little things are sneaky and persistent! If you’re not fluent in Spanish, I wouldn’t recommend driving, most road signs & directions are all in Spanish, and driving customs differ from the U.S. Despite the hiccups, the service, scenery, and local charm made the trip memorable especially seeing traffic stop completely to let a sloth cross the road!
