3 mins walk to Gulou station metro. Safe and good location, adjacent to small shopping mall.
Staff english understanding very limited for an 5 stars international hotel.
Rooms are old and need major renovations.
Working chair was not working and asked to change 2x but not being done.

Do not imagine yourself staying in a five stars hotel. This is a very old property. The furniture and amenities are old and beat up. The staff is friendly and competent. The cleaning crew is very friendly and did a good job. The issues arise from the property showing its age that’s all. If you want a true luxury experience I suggest looking for another place:)

Lobby is so warm, fragrance are so strong that I have to go outside for some fresh air while checking in. Took a taxi back to the hotel with baby, as soon as we get off the taxi have not even check if we get everything from the car and the attendant start screaming at the driver to move the car! Where is the safety for your guest?

"Perfect check in experiencs. Super helpful and we upgraded 2 rooms to executive suite so as to have connecting rooms as we have children travelling with us.
