The Grand Hotel México City is an amazing place to stay. You just need to look up while inside and you will be wowed by the glass stained ceiling. Restaurant La Terraza offers an amazing view of the Zócalo and the good is delicious!

They need to work on having more staff during the morning time, they couldn't pick me up at 1am for my check in from the airport at terminal 2, they said I had to wait between 15 to 25 minutes for the shuttle so I ended up getting a taxi.

The location is great! I walked to many great locations near by. I would definitely stay here again just because of the location. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. If you are used to the hotels in the US, you would definitely feel like the hotel room is very basic. I personally did not mind it since I was out and about daily.
