The hotel is a bit dated, still using physical keys for the rooms and the elevator. While the staff was very pleasant, the cleanliness did not meet my expectations compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.
My biggest issue was with the booking. I explicitly booked a room for Two adults and two children, but upon arrival, we were given a room with only one queen bed. When I pointed out that I had registered the children, the hotel demanded an additional ¥7,000 per day just to put an extra mattress on the floor. Because we stayed for two weeks, this cost me an extra ¥98,000 in total. If I visit Kobe again, I will definitely not choose this hotel.
