Western Division Kid friendly Vacations

Tambua is an amazing Adult Only resort, it is quiet and the grounds and rooms are immaculate. Food is well priced and good quality. The staff are absolutely amazing especially Toui and Jim.

The room, restaurant, and beach was awesome. Pool bar was nice too but it was weird to have kids section there. Now the staffs 🙄 they are nice but they.need to smile to all their guests and not pick and choose. They need to set their tone

Our fourth trip there so that tell's you how much we love it. The staff, primarily the local grown staff, are incredibly kind and engaging. The food is at the same level with a "Thank You Cake" on our last night, a Breakfast Chef who made special gluten free pancakes for my Daughter N Law, and the Head Chef delivering a Crab Macaroni & Cheese to "test" for their Summer menu. All facilities are immaculate. It truly lives up to the Resort name as we don't see a need to go elsewhere even when we had a rental car. Snorkeling is a 5 +; don't try elsewhere (unless an outer island) as honestly it's no better. Local masseuses next door, do it! Currency exchange with hotel but only up to 200FJD so if you need more, do it at airport. What has digressed since Reef Safari is gone is Kayak/Surfboard availability and times. Specific tides dictate this due to reef exposure but when I ( 45+ years surfing) pressed on launching from Sand Bar, they said no. Hopefully tide times coincide with their operating hours for you. Surf? Yes, there is surf out front but you need a westerly swell to hit the reef. If you want more of the local vibe, get a ride to Sigatoka down the road for the Farmers Market and shops. Intercontinental Fiji is extremely accommodating and earns every bit of a 5 star. They think of everything and deliver on it with a smile.

The views are amazing but the property is under construction so expect alot of noise. The staff was helpful for the most part but checkin is a nightmare and wasn’t greeted with the most welcoming vibe at the guest counter.

Staff were the most attentive and friendliest group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served by in a resort setting. Spa therapists were excellent and accommodating to my physical limitations. Brought the massages to our room rather than me having to walk to the spa. Grounds were meticulously groomed daily. Food was excellent in presentation, quality, and variety. This resort paid more attention to small details than any place we’ve stayed before.

Fantastic Resort, we really enjoyed our trip. Beautiful beach, gorgeous views and very friendly staff.

Breakfast continental was very poor, cereals, bit of fruit, bread & pastries. No cold meats, cheese, nuts etc. I ordered the eggs Benedict & it was if they had used 1/2 muffin & cut it again, some very frizzled bacon, eggs were cold, presentation very poor.

Amazing staff and island, superb reef with beautiful coral. Great place to truly relax and unwind. Will be back again.

We only stayed one night but very pleased with this resort.
