Downstate New York Kid friendly Vacations

Room was clean but the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall off. It also shows signs of deterioration frames at least the carpet didn’t smell bad. EXTREMELY small bathroom making it very uncomfortable to seat in the toilet. Room does not have refrigerator! Only 2 hangers! The hotel has a strict smoking policy which I love HOWEVER you could smell weed in the lobby and the elevator Lobby bathrooms door didn’t lock Only one lady in reception was friendly and very nice the others were bossy, rude and very dry.

Location is superb. Gym is well equipped and in good repair. Breakfast was good - but ridiculously busy. Queues every day. We had two queen beds and a sofa bed which was fine for a family of four. The housekeeping was rubbish - they only cleaned the room one day in four nights, and no change of towels. When they did clean it they put the sofa bed away and removed the bedding. We got back late after a concert and waited an hour and a half for extra bedding to be brought up - despite multiple calls to the front desk- Was really disappointing given it was late and the kids were tired. Put a Dampener on what would have been a good hotel experience.

Felt safe and had a supermarket just across the street. The room was spacious and convenient, especially since I was traveling with my three kids. Overall, the location and staff were definite highlights, but the hotel could really benefit from some much-needed updates.
