Southern California Kid friendly Vacations

Everything was magical!

I took my children here and we stayed for 6 days. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with beautiful views. Now with that said, it needs to be updated. Everything felt outdated from the TV to the beds. I was really disappointed when we saw our room, and had I not paid for everything upfront, I would have gone elsewhere. The resort fees were also a bit ridiculous. I felt like I got scammed as the price really doesn’t equal the experience. I will say it’s really close to the airport and attractions such as SeaWorld so that was nice. I will not go back the next time I go to San Diego.

The hotel was nice and quiet. The proximity to the park was very nice. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet that was very good. There is a good size pool on the property and there was very nice young man who took our drink orders poolside. Not much to do there if you’re not interested in going to the park, but we enjoyed our stay. We could have used some extra counter space in the bathroom and the AC was not cooling off the room very well. All in all, we had a great time and we would go back to the hotel again in the future. Just one more thing I did not realize about the hotel stay is the twenty five dollar a night fee for parking there. Because we booked through a third party, we were charged for parking. My opinion, parking should be free for hotel guests.

It’s a nice & clean hotel. Made you feel as if you are on a tropical island. This is a great place to stay for families as they hv wonderful amenities & other stores/restaurants are found conveniently within a 10min walk. What would make this an outstanding hotel is if they just gave the hotel a make o we & upgrade some of the furnishing in the rooms.

We were extremely disappointed about the pool being closed. After reviews this was closed for a long time. But we still paid a daily resort fee. For what? Otherwise lovely place. Our kids are sad about the pool. When we booked there was shuttle service. When we arrived no shuttle service

This hotel is my go-to when going to Disneyland. It is close to the park, always clean, the staff is nice and friendly. They go beyond to help their customers. Having free parking is also nice since we drive from another state.
