Kinki Region Kid friendly Vacations

Hotel right next to the entrance of universal studios japan, the commercial street with plenty of F&B and the train station to Osaka station. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. I would stay here again should I visit USJ again.

The hotel is very clean and great location. However I have to say the rooms are bit outdated and compared to other 4 star hotels I stayed at during my trip this has the worst bed in terms of comfort. The staff was very friendly and the area was quiet.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, would stay here again and recommend staying here if visiting USJ

Hotel Monterey Kyoto is conveniently located, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The room was a decent size with two double beds, providing comfortable space for our stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary onsite onsen, which was a lovely bonus after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, a comfortable hotel in a great location, with good amenities and excellent value for a Kyoto stay

Good hotel in super location for Dotobori. Family of four, 14 & 12 year old - room that was sold as 4 beds was only 2 beds and 2 mats on the floor. Otherwise very comfortable

Concierge was super helpful in arranging a dinner reservation as well as airport transfer

I highly recommend staying in this hotel due to its excellent location. Shinsaibashi station is right by hotel offering easy access to the rest of Osaka. Ideal location if you enjoy shopping as two big department stores: Parco and Daimaru just across the road and many more designer stores close by. Just around the corner is America-mura for a more hip and budget friendly stroll. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful offering great hospitality. I would have scored it 5 stars but just a couple of minor things let it down and it’s just to my personal tastes: there was only 1 charging port in the room, so I couldn’t charge two devices at the same time. And the other thing was the TV channels with no English speaking channels. Even the BBC was in Japanese. After a long day walking about in the evening it’s just nice to chill with a bit of television to watch. Very minor issues so please don’t let this put you off. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
