Fort Walton Beach - Destin Kid friendly Vacations

Very disappointing. We've never experienced anything like this before. Our room wasn't cleaned for two days in a row, and we had to repeatedly request clean towels, have the trash emptied, and ask for paper cups and other basic amenities. Considering the price, the service was far below our expectations. While a few staff members were polite, the overall level of professionalism was disappointing. For the level of service we received, we could have stayed at a much less expensive hotel and had the same—or even a better—experience.

We've stayed at The Island multiple times and while the rooms aren't that nice, the amenities usually more than make up for it. This time however, rooms need updating and the WORST part was we had MULTIPLE bugs in our room, like 7 or 8, and one was a GIANT cockroach! I think next time we come back into town, we're going to stay somewhere else.
