Southern Gulf Islands Kid friendly Vacations

The hotel is great I love the rooms and the staff. However the property is starting to show some wear and tear. Nothing major, just chipped paint etc. I’ll definitely stay there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay. The staff were very accommodating and every single one (apologies, I can't remember the names) was friendly and made me feel welcome. The hotel had suffered from a water leak about a week before I arrived which meant that the lobby and restaurants were out of order (could get room service) - for me, the lobby area is something that I look at when booking as like to relax outside the room, so this was unfortunate but could not be helped. Only thing I would question was whether it was right to charge tray charge when room service is the only option (admittedly did not raise this, but was a factor in only ordering couple of times when I would have liked to try more). The Spa was glorious and felt very pampered. If I ever get the opportunity to visit Vancouver again, would be certainly be be looking to book here again.

The staff were friendly. I was unsure about the cleanliness of the hallways because we saw unmentionables that sat there for several hours.

Convenient for a quick layover. Pool and hot tub were extraordinary with an excellent view. The rest (coffee makers, entertainment services and room controls are in need of an upgrade. We had a corner room shaped like a rhombus which left us feeling askew (literally). The restaurants were closed but there’s an excellent alternative at the corner called Cask (expensive but amazing).

Everything about the hotel was great, except the food court in the casino. Not a fan of the food or service there.

Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. It is dated and could use a renovation but the location was excellent and offered many options for food, shopping, and enjoying the beauty of Vancouver.
