Greater Antilles Kid friendly Vacations

Getting pillows/items took 3-4 calls Buffet food typically more stale, cold, overdone, bland Entertainment- everything starts so late- wish more items could be done earlier When rooms cleaned- never left towels - didn't understand that (like there were literally no towels left in the room once they cleaned and they didn't leave any...?? Vendors on beach- HORRIBLE- every 5 seconds somebody asking to purchase items- it's ridiculous:(((

The cleaning service was not good! They missed a day and I had to call them to come clean the room (even that, they missed washing coffee cups, replacing towels) Sheets were not changed! My pillow cases had black stains and they never got changed. The bathroom was not cleaned during room services. The room was too cold to the point we couldn't sleep at night. Called the front desk and they were not able to fix it. I had higher expectations when guests are charged high pricing.

Stayed for four nights. Room was beautiful and spotless. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food was great. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

The outdoor areas are very nice other than treating you like a child on a field trip by INSISTING that you wear a different colored wristband every day to prove you're a guest instead of building a damn fence where the road meets the beach area. We.got there on Monday evening. There are 2 elevaters in the lobby, one was broken. Apparently, it's impossible to get an elevator fixed in a whole week. The one working elevator was HORRIBLE. You could grow a beard waiting for it. That's not me saying it, EVERYONE did. We were on the fifth floor and you hit the button and it v wiuld skip your floor 2-3 times before finally stopping. The lower tier staff...maids, front door, pool waitstaff were all friendly and helpful. However, the desk staff was cold and indifferent. There is a deli next to the lobby sign says they are open 9-1 and then again ftom 5-11, not so much. The BAR is open 5-11 even though the sign says the deli is. When I asked the woman at the desk, she just pointed and said NOTHING. At one point I asked the front desk for change, they sent me to the concierge who sent to the bar who said "try rhe gift shop" ridiculous. Never did get the change. The building is at LEAST 5 years past due on a TOTAL makeover...plugs missing covers with exposed wires, everything was rusty and worn.

Kid friendly, good food options, amazing staff!

Room was downgraded, 2 of 3elevators broken, not enough pool towels, pool and beach chairs, dead fish on beach. Beach full of natural debris and trash. Staff does nothing to clean it. Meals take over an hour to get and are wrong 1/3rd of the time when received. Staff was friendly, and appologetic. Inside was clean except for bird poop on balcony furniture, nice shower and bath products, in room coffee is great, bed and bedding comfortable. Thin walls didnt sleep great due to crying kids and people walking in halls. Many of the things mentioned hard to locate with many staff unhelpful as they didnt know where things were. Not worth the $ for 2 adults but very kid friendly with activities and water park features.
