East Neuk Golf Vacations

Checked in at 4am after a delayed flight. Was told check out was 10am…..I thankfully then double checked the booking and it’s 11am. Was welcomed to the hotel with a smell of weed so strong that I was practically chewing on it. The room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy and looked like it hadn’t had deep clean since circa 2003. One towel for the 2 of us to share (always a delight) and some suspicious looking stains all over the walls. We were rudely awoken by a thud on the door and a cleaner entering at 10am….just what we needed after around 4hrs of sleep. Check out couldn’t come soon enough and when I expressed my concerns, I was met with barely a shoulder shrug. Cracking car park though…….Probably best to just sleep there, in your vehicle and avoid entering the hotel.

This experience was fabulous!!!! The employees could not have been nicer or more helpful! The only issue was the shower... We had to build a towel moat or the whole room flooded.... A short dam of some sort needs to be added.

Loved the location of this hotel. The staff were great and delicious breakfast to start your day. We went for dinner here one of the nights and the cocktails were amazing!

Fabulous hotel in a quiet area but just a few minutes walk from the West End.

Good location. Rooms on the non castle side hear garbage trucks early in the morning. Other than that I would be happy to stay there again.

Nice lodge and fantastic staff. I must have booked us into the house across the street which was a slightly different experience and our particular room was very lacking in terms of amenities, size, and washroom standards.

Room smelled strongly of a strange chemical floral smell. Had to keep the window open to try and air it out. No food available nearby. There is a mall within a short walk that offers a Greg’s and a McDonald’s. The hotel is not 4 stars. It is a bit rundown. The staff are nice and try to be helpful.
