Our stay at The Ultimo was great. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and the location is superb.

Good location. 25 minutes easy walk to Darling harbor. Clear hotel.super close to Coles supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast may not be worth it.

Brilliant location. Walking distance to Town Hall Station and supermarkets. Close to the main attractions too. Rooms are a bit outdated but it looks like they will revamp them sometime soon because our bathroom was brand new and modern. We requested a couple of things that were missing in our room mainly in the kitchen, and the front desk was very responsive and attended to our needs promptly. They even replaced our safe that was broken. I would stay with them again but I would check first if the rooms have been renovated. The coffee shop downstairs was great too. Friendly staff and delicious food.

Friendly staff at check-in - I was able to drop my heavy backpack hours before checkin began. Clean and beautiful room that still looks new. Great location close to train stations, Aldi and many food options. Only negative was that one of the bar staff was unfriendly and borderline rude. A comment that my friends also made during our catchup in the lobby. This is not what I expect from Ace properties after frequenting them since 2009.

Great rooms, staff super helpful

The place is a older wooden building. The place was clean and tidy. My room was clean, even it's at the front of the building, it's quiet. There's no staff around but text messages are clear and easy to follow when I first arrived. Met the cleaning lady called Lee at checkout time. Lee was friendly and helpful. I let her know that I will use the guest house next time I come back.

Were able to use carpark under building and take elevator to our unit. Very convient. There were a few homeless folks that had air matresses and stuff set up on street but to be expected in large city. Large night club just down the block but staffed with several bouncers. I never felt unsafe.
