Kauai Golf Vacations

My room overlooked the pool and a side view of the beach, Very comfortable bed and pillows. All resort staff were friendly and accommodating. The lunch menu at the resort was good, especially liked the flatbread pizza. Beach area and pool areas had plenty of seating. The roosters were fun to watch. Overall a great resort.

We stayed at One Hotel in Hawaii for the first time and overall, our vacation was great and the hotel itself was excellent. However, we were a bit disappointed with the staff. My husband’s birthday was coming up and I mentioned it several times in advance, but they made a lot of mistakes. They brought the cake on the wrong day, and when the actual day arrived, I had to remind them. They also congratulated me instead of my husband. At checkout we were also charged $70 for items from the minibar that we never used, which was quite unpleasant to see from a hotel of this level. I contacted the hotel about these issues afterward but unfortunately did not receive a clear response. Please be attentive and double-check your final bill.

We loved the Outrigger. The staff were friendly and helpful. It seemed to be under construction. I’m sure it will be beautiful, when it’s finished.

The property is expansive. So be prepared to walk a long way to your room. However because it’s not a tall building you never wait for an elevator. We had two queens garden room and I honestly thought I would hate the bottom floor but it was great. We could hear the ocean but not see it.
