This is a nice hotel right in old Manila. That means narrow roads, foot and vehicular traffic with hit and miss sidewalks, crowded, chaotic with people from various walks of life. It’s right beside Binondo church (Dominican 1596) and it’s the “first Chinatown” across the river from Intramuros which is the Spanish colonial fort. The modern infrastructure like electricity and communications can be seen to be retrofitted as times modernized; these were the first models of lessons learned in the present urbanization playbook. In many ways the place is frozen in time and for me, that’s the charm.

Location is great. It’s close to malls which makes it convenient. People are helpful and friendly. We had internet issue on our 2nd week of stay but they were quick to respond. They have buffet breakfast as well with great options.

We had an exceptional stay here. We booked an overnight stay 1 week apart for some wedding errands. Both times we were helped above and beyond our expectations by the staff. We truly appreciate them having us check-in early to help us settle down after a long ride to Manila and before leaving for an early flight. Thank you so much.
